Form follows function - form is a function.
For me, design and technical functions are two aspects of the same category. They are not mutually exclusive but inseparable. Good design is an essential part of the functionality of any product, whether it concerns the design of luminaries or other products. I always develop products against this background. For me, this is the best way to create innovative and successful products that are relevant to users.
Good teamwork makes the difference.
As a designer and project manager, I always see myself as a moderator who promotes the necessary understanding of all members involved in the interdisciplinary project team. Good results are achieved by agile approaches, open communication, and respectful interaction - that's what I stand for.
Realization counts.
For me, a hands-on mentality is one of the most important qualities to bring projects to a successful conclusion. This includes an agile approach, close contact with the customer, and a getting-things-done manner when it comes to producing the prototypes or installing them on the construction site. If the job requires it, I can be found in the workshop at the laser, the circular saw, or on the scaffolding of a construction site.
In my portfolio, you will find a selection of examples showing my understanding of product development, whether for series or project business.
